Swimming
The whole school goes by bus to Hawksbury pool for swimming lessons. School swimming is a weekly activity during terms 1, 2 and 4.
School Camp
Every second year the entire school enjoys a three day adventure together. Every other year the seniors head to Wanaka for ski camp.
Clubs
In term 3 of each year we take a break from swimming and have clubs on a Thursday afternoon instead. Wonderful parents, grandparents and champions of our school often take a club.
Community
Karitāne School has strong relationships within the wider community, particularly Kati Huirapa Runaka.
